Saunders Waterford Paper. 10 Sheets of 56 x 76 cms. Manufactured in cylindrical machine and with the purest cotton fibres. It is marketed in block, roll and single sheet formats, being a paper that is characterised by its response to water and its beautiful colour, with homogeneous absorption of pigments, and conservation of the original colour after drying.
Saunders Waterford is an exquisite watercolour paper, traditionally made on a cylinder mould machine. This is the superior quality watercolour paper manufactured by St Cuthberts Mill and comes with the endorsement of the Royal Watercolor Society. WATERFORD Manufactured from 100% cotton, the highest quality papermaking material and to high archival standards. Each sheet is buffered with calcium carbonate to help protect the workpieces from discolouration caused by acids present in atmospheric pollution. Its attractive surface is created using natural wool felts which give it a distinctive random texture. The surface has a gelatine size which makes it strong and resistant to scrubbing and other rough treatments.
