Designed for use with full-bodied paints, Catalyst™ is perfectly suited to oils, acrylics and water-miscible oils. Because they are heat resistant, they excel in encaustic. Artists use them with plaster, clay and even glaze. Made from FDA-approved silicone, Catalyst™ blades and wedges are ideal for food processing.
Cleaning is easy with Catalyst™ blades and wedges. The silicone is easy to clean and resistant to solvents. Cleaning in most cases can be done with mild soap and water. Dried paint can be peeled off the silicone surface. The Catalyst™ blades can be detached from their wooden handles for easy cleaning and replacement when dry.
