HOLBEIN PASTEL From inception to final production, the unique manufacturing process is computerised and mechanised. Each bar is individually scanned to ensure even pigment distribution and pigment purity, ensuring a consistent predictable shade for use in sketches, coatings and finished work. A smaller size makes them easy to hold and less prone to breakage. A fixative is recommended in pastel colours to prevent colours from fading. Colour chart note: colour charts represent approximations of actual colour. Due to the many variations in monitors and browsers, colours may appear slightly different on different computer screens.
