Schmincke Artist Metallic Pigments Series 15 are formulated with real metallic pigments for oil, acrylic and watercolour/Gouache painting techniques. There are 5 colours available: intense gold, intense pale gold, pale gold, copper and silver. Available in the following ranges:
Acrylic-Bronzes in 150 ml plastic jar.
Aqua-Bronzes in a 20 ml jar
Oil-Bronzes in 50 ml jars
Genuine Schmincke artist's bronzes contain bronze or aluminium pigments. They are therefore very lightfast, more opaque and brighter than other metallic effect colours made of pearl lustre pigments - only suitable for interior objects!
Handling: Mix 3 parts Oil Bronze and 2 parts bronze medium with a spatula shortly before application. If necessary, it can be diluted with turpentine or substitute. It dries with a cloth and is water-resistant. The coloured layers remain soluble in turpentine oil (50102) or turpentine substitute after drying.
