Schmincke Artist Artist Metallic Pigments Series 15 are formulated on the basis of real metallic pigments for oil, acrylic and watercolour/Gouache painting techniques. There are 5 colours available: intense gold, intense pale gold, pale gold, copper and silver. Available in the following ranges:
Acrylic-Bronzes in 150 ml plastic jar.
Aqua-Bronzes in 20 ml jar
Oil-Bronzes in 50 ml jar
Genuine Schmincke artist's bronzes contain bronze or aluminium pigments. They are therefore very lightfast, more opaque and brighter than other metallic effect colours made of pearl lustre pigments - only suitable for interior objects!
Schmincke Aqua Bronze is designed to achieve shiny metal effects in Gouache or watercolour paints on absorbent surfaces such as paper, cardboard, paintable cardboard or canvas (not suitable for plaster, metal or plastic!).
Handling: Mix the required amount of Aqua Bronze shortly before application with a small amount of water on a palette. Further dilution with water is possible. The amount of water added influences the opacity and gloss of the colour.
