Volatile, odourless diluent. Evaporates without leaving residues. Ideal for applying thin first coats, it makes easier the application of oil colours, stimulating their drying, without leaving any residue. Useful to achieve various effects, such as glazes, transparencies, etc., mainly on backgrounds. When used in excess in oil colours, it can produce cracks, crazing, shading due to different porosity, etc., mainly in the last layers of the work. It can also be used for cleaning tools. Mix well the oil colour and the odourless thinner until the right fluidity is achieved for the work to be done. Given its good thinning power, the possible mixing proportions are very variable, being always at the discretion or opinion of the user the rule to follow.
