Blackwing Palomino Blue features our extra-firm graphite, along with a "Palomino Blue" body, distinctive gold stripe, and gold imprint, gold ferrule and white eraser inspired that paved the way for Blackwing's renaissance.
Devotees began paying as much as $40 on eBay for a single pencil. In the early 2000s, we used our access to the best wood, graphite and artisan manufacturers in the world to introduce a line of premium pencils we called Palomino. The buzz surrounding Palomino led Blackwing fans to ask us to try to bring Blackwing pencils to a new generation. In 2010, we did just that.
